Is the duration of Rewind set or is there a way to extend it? I have been trying to make my way up to a sky labyrinth by hitching a ride on up on debris, but can’t make it very high up.
It's set afaik. I've pretty much always used a vehicle to get to a sky labyrinth. The big floaty things with a bunch of rockets works pretty well, or the 2 fan and controller cycle if you have enough battery or charges.

I haven’t finished it yet but so far Tears of the Kingdom has exceeded my expectations. It kind of has an adventure of link feel to it, some parts are very challenging and as others have mentioned it really requires a lot more talking to villagers for hints on where to go next compared to breath of the wild.

Trying to clean up the large # of side quests I've gathered before progressing the main quest.
Also I haven't fought a Gleeok yet.
I have come across an Ice Gleeok and it kicked my butt. I tried just hitting it from behind a wall with Keese eyeball arrows, but it did pretty minimal damage.
Yeah I think you need to hit all 3 eyeballs to get it on the ground then you can pound it with a strong weapon.
I made a little half box out of stone tablets I plan to use as a shelter and ascend though to jump off of and get arrow time, though I think they fly high up too so might bring a few rocket shields too.

You have to take the three heads down before it falls to the ground and then attack it with your best melee weapons. Keep your distance when it stands up again, because it will send you flying with its wings and it could make you waste a rocket shield (I normally use the rocket shield afterwards). Use wings if the gleeok is too far away in the air.
If you have the right armor sets or helmets, it would make some of those fights a lot easier to handle. Bows with multiple shots are strongly recommended!
The first gleeok I managed to beat was the thunder gleeok in the colosseum, because you can ascend through floors of the colosseum and jump off to get that hang time and shoot the eyes. Felt like a great accomplishment beating it. Trying to beat a king gleeok on one of the floating islands where there's nothing to ascend had me dying again and again at the final phase where it just flies way up into the air and out of reach. Felt impossible to get past that last stage.
That was before I figured out using rocket shields and timing my attacks. Once you're well equipped with a few of them and you figure out the timing to never let them get back up off the ground, the challenge level goes way down for them. I think you could do it with springs or even scaffolds too. It's mostly just about timing it so you're out of the way of the wing blast when it recovers and up in the air to shoot out its eyes again before it takes off.

Nintendo releasing a remake of Super Mario RPG on November 17. This is one of my all time favorite games, a new coat of paint + re-done soundtrack, this might be my favorite game announcement ever. I would pick this over everything else coming out this year, lol.
They also dropped a trailer for this new 2D Mario game coming out in October that looks wild. Finally drops the aesthetic from the 'NSMB' series for a cool new art style and has a bunch of crazy stuff going on. Looks like a blast! Don't throw away your Switch yet.

Super Mario RPG on a new system!? Oh boy, here I go super jumping again!
So far we have beaten Super Mario RPG on the following systems: Super NES, PC, Raspberry Pi, Wii, SNES Mini (yes, I know, shut up) and now Switch. It must be beat on all available platforms or it has not really been beat.

Oh thank christ Nintendo finally clued in and put in more than one female character. The amount of refereeing I had to do with my 2 daughters over who gets to be Peachette was highly annoying, and locking Rosalina away in 3D World until after you beat Bowser was bull####
If you've been using a flier at all there's a newer version that's assembled a bit different that handles a lot better. And he's got a way to assemble it that makes a perfect one that doesn't drift.
