I'm fully aware as a tennis fan that the greatest match has already been played .....2008 Wimbledon 2017 Australian Open Men's final. No other match can match it in terms of quality and drama.
there we go, much better

I'm still going to find players to follow (Shapo, FAA, Thiem, Tsitsipas) but I won't be as invested as I am right now.
the post Sampras era looked pretty bleak, with a bunch of just ok dudes like Roddick, Hewitt, Safin etc. inheriting the tour. Roger was still just a pouty, inconsistent former junior champion and Rafa was still learning to use a potty or something. no we almost certainly won't get the triple goat thing ever again, but it's always possible someone out of this crowd is going to emerge with the heart of a legend and be someone we can follow for the next 15-20 years.

There were some rumors around about Genie been injured either to her shoulder or arm. That rumor seems to be confirmed after Genie appeared in some pictures wearing black-colored hand support.
Genie Bouchard didn’t release any official statement about her Fitness, but there are strong possibilities that she will miss the entire grass-court season to possibly target the so-called American Summer with many tournaments to be staged there in North America after the Olympic Games.
What the hell is she doing showing up in an episode of Kesler’s House? Gross, that will only lead to a bunch of no goodness rubbing off on your already difficult season.
Yeah, I read that earlier today - First mistake was retiring with no injury, second mistake was admitting that's what you did.
At least he's honest (this is why we have press conferences). But as SCD said, this will be the downfall of the new generation. Not even having a Plan B, not able to fight.

Yes, I can't knock him for the honesty. I think we can also cut him some slack because he's 19 and hasn't played many best three out of five matches let alone against an all-time great in the sport. That said, these younger guys who have ripped on guys like Dimitrov and Raonic for not winning grand slams are finding out how difficult it is to beat the Big 3 at grand slams.

Also, what a run by Tamara Zidansek, takes out Bianca in the opening round and now finds herself in the semi-final after defeating Badosa earlier today (8-6 in set 3).

There's a whole graveyard of guys about 10 years ago. Tsonga, Monfils, Roddick, Verdasco, Soderling, Berdych, Ferrer, Del Potro (he did get one, and the olympics)

Mussetti is only 9 months younger than Iga Swiatek and 2 years older than Coco Gauff. The Women's game could be entering a golden age with so much talent that every slam 10-15 women could win.
I liked Roddick. Remember this press conference when he got his ass handed to him by Federer?
Press Conference! being on the ATP tour during the mid 2000's was bad for the mental health of so many players. Fed needs to publicly acknowledge this and apologize.
