i really like it. the speed is awesome...especially on pages that i know take longer with ie.
i probably won't give up either ffox or ie...the other members of my family use those...but i will likely use chrome as my default...but i am still testing!

Whats funny is I use all 3
Firefox for all the windows I plan on taking care of later (different sites / articles / youtubes to read and watch)... but Firefox keeps on crashing on me
IE for streaming hockey video and games
Chrome for regular internet... but for some reason when I use Chrome, it periodically kills my internet.

I stopped using Chrome as my general purpose browser. I tend to have too many tabs open and the memory overhead really adds up. Additonally it really doesn't like PDF's, which I am constantly downloading for school so Chrome goes on the backburner for now. There is also terrible (nearly non existant) bookmark management
If Chrome was as stable as Opera, I would use it in a heartbeat, since everything about it is much more user friendly ,Even bookmark management is at least intuitive on Chrome.

Its still in beta no? I'm sure they'll get all the kinks out once they release it officially.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
GMail is still in beta, and has been for 4+ years.
I'm not sure Google uses the term "beta" like other software companies.

I do expect the kinks to be ironed out, that is what beta is for is to allow for more advanced testing. My main problem, the opening of .pdf was probably not dealt with earlier, since they use the searchbot to do most of their pre-beta testing, and it doesn't deal with .pdfs the same way as a normal website.
If my specifc use did not involved pdfs for school, I would probably use it more often, since it is fastest.

Chrome has hit 1.0 and dropped the Beta tag.

I don't really see any improvement in Chrome over Firefox. Chrome has more off the shelf add-ons but that's about it.
Chrome does not have greasemonkey. That's a big minus for me.

Nothing that jumps out, but I haven't parsed the change log yet.
