I hope he stays in Vegas for the full contract. Just because MNF is so much better without him shouting “spider 2-y banana” all the time.

The Jets own there first round pick in 2022.
@JFowler:
Sources: Seahawks are bracing for Russell Wilson to miss at least a month and possibly 6-8 weeks with his ruptured middle-finger tendon that likely requires surgery. Seattle thinking about Wilson’s long-term health. Barring an unexpectedly swift recovery, it’s Geno Smith’s show.

I have never heard the term "rubber lips" for someone who is a liar. I don't even get that.

I can see this being a showdown again for Wilson and the organization. He will say he's ready in 3 to 4 weeks when the organization will say best to rest and wait a couple more weeks.
Steelers Saints Jags and then a bye the next 4 weeks, so no divisional opponents and only 1 NFC opponent and all pretty average opponents. If Smith plays like he did last night, 2-1 or even 3-0 isn't out of the realm and 2-1 still in the realm.

But he didn't say rubber lips, he said '"Dumboriss Smith has lips the size of michellin tires" That he used "Michellin Tires" offers a 0.000000001% possible out, but you'd have to be insanely naive (or a massive homer) to believe that's what he meant. End of the day we all know casual racism happens even among people we know that we wouldn't call explicitly racist. Gruden won't get fired for this unless the locker room turns on him, so we'll see how that plays out. But tripping over yourself to try and defend the comments as "he meant he trips over his words" is pretty laughable.

Yeah, it's a very common saying. So common that I'd never heard it prior to this.
Well as long as it's not N-word bad!

Jags-Dolphins in London next week. In a just world the NFL would be tried for crimes against humanity for doing England like that.

Well England outputs crappy soccer so it's a wash.

Yeah but it's not like they are sending over Burnley and Norwich to America to help "grow the game".

you underestimate how much people in Europe are craving NFL football ... Germany is more than pumped for games too. It really doesn't matter which teams you're sending.

What do you guys think of Titans and Jags over/under 48.5?
Not sure if this is the thread to talk NFL betting. Apologies if not.

I genuinely don't know why they haven't played in Germany yet, Germany was the only place that really supported NFL Europe.

Jameis made the Jameis era bearable for Bucs fans lol. Mediocre teams made highly entertaining by Jameis just doing his thing.
