Default Flip phone for seniors

As the title indicates, I'm wondering if anyone has an idea for a super basic cell phone for a senior. I have googled this and looked on Amazon and none of the brands are recognizable to me. Ideally, it would have tactile buttons, not text and be just a super basic phone. Thought I'd try and see if anyone else has any advice before I just take a blind plunge on one of these!

a couple of years ago I bought my son a nokia 3310 because he kept breaking smartphone. It was like an old school nokia and was super tough. I don't know if you can still get them though.

I mean I really just want a straight up phone. Its currently an iPhone and it just causes a lot of frustration, and is purely used as a phone. There's no texting or anything else being used. Rather than deal with all these annoyances, I was hoping someone would still make a simple flip phone (or whatever, really) that might work here.

As an aside...I think there's a huge market there for old people who can't use all these phones with virtual keyboards, and have no use for dozens of apps.

lol, yeah that's literally the exact opposite of what he's looking for other than there is a hinge in the centre. He wants a simple phone with physical keys; not a cutting-edge smart phone with touch display.

About 5-6 years ago, there seemed to be this renaissance of upgraded "dumb phones" that were showing up everywhere in Asia that were potentially going to be brought to North America. But it all suddenly went quiet.

Phones like the Galaxy folder2 which was like a seriously upgraded version of the Razr or something like the Alcatel Go Flip3 seemed to be announced all the time. But these were basically refreshes of the old hardware that wasn't produced over a decade or two ago.

I even seemed to recall there were announcements of dumb phones that were basically bigger versions of older phones, like they were 9-11" dumb phones with buttons and interfaces that were like 2-3x bigger than the original 5-6" versions of those phones as some of those older phones were a bit small for the elderly to read and sometimes they were hard to hold, especially those with arthritis etc.

Instead, only occasional niche hipster dumb phones like the Light phone ended up showing up on indiegogo and kickstarter and nothing actually decent for seniors seemed to actually end up being released in North America by the big telecoms. What happened?

It always seemed like we were on the verge of a flood of really awesome Keitai phones coming to North America, but it never happened.

My parents are in their 80s and not very good with technology. Smartphones break my parents. They were able to get a flip phone from Telus about two years ago.

My place of employment also employs semi-retired people on a casual basis and they get phones assigned to their areas. Most of these semi-retired casual employees are in a similar situation to my parents when it comes to technology. We got them flip phones and we use Bell.

You can find flip phones from the major providers. You just have to ask them.

Flip Phones are still popular in Japan, so I'd suggedt looking into something like this:
