One of my best friends at Law School was a janitor most of his life, and made it to Law School in his 40s. He was quite a character and brought something unique to our class.

I have a notion to go back to school eventually - maybe the Wine College in Pentiction:

I’d definitely go to law school if I could do it online/evenings or part time. I wouldn’t want to quit my job.

One classmate worked a 9-5 job and only showed up for exams. He is a Judge now.

That sounds amazing! I wouldn’t have even thought something like that was doable. Maybe that guy was just a genius?

A guy in one of my CFP classes goofed off (class clown) and when it came time for the exam he finished in 20 minutes. Turns out the exam was one of the practice exams that he’d done numerous times.

Yeah and I whipped through the CFP also. I think I did the coursework in a couple months to power through that final. I didn’t find it particularly strenuous, but I’m assuming a law degree is a whole other level? The CFA was no joke and I assume the law degree is roughly on par.

A pretty high percentage of people who didn't show up for classes in law school during my time got strong marks on their exams and desirable jobs upon graduation. I was surprised.

In America, you can't miss more than 20% of classes if you hope to be admitted to the Bar.

What are the best methods to self study for cfp? books? online? Im looking to take it as I currently have downtime and want to add to my Degree in Management.

It did all self-study and did it online (I think?). I had to take exams in person, but that might be different with Covid at this point. They have changed some of the structure since I did it as well, but like I said above, I didn’t think it was very difficult.

Oh my! I don’t know how to embed tweets but I just learnt that Eugene Melnyk has a twitter account where he pretends to be a fan and praises everything Melnyk. It’s hilarious and a bit sad actually.

Well I'll be dead by then anyway - otherwise I would be 115 years old

That the character of Carlton on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was named after Carlton Cuse, a TV guy involved in series such as Lost, Nash Bridges, Brisco County Junior, Bates Motel, Jack Ryan, and others.

That's pretty sad and hilarious but you being an Oilers fan should be familiar seeing the Oilers had employees posting at HF praising Lowe and MacT.
