Welp, Dimitrov really upped his level and rallied from 1-4 down to win over Alexis 6-4 7-5. Pretty good showing from the Canadian, he really needs to somehow get more pop on his serve though, ground strokes are fine, but he doesn't get many free points.

Shapo just lost to de Minaur in the second set tie-break, really tough luck as he was playing much better late in set 2 and into the tie-break when the rains came last night and play was suspended.

I don't think Kasatkina was too pleased about that extended break Bianca took between sets one and two. Kerber did Bianca no favors calling her a drama queen back in 2019 and unfortunately that label has stuck with her. WTA can bring in similar rules to ATP if they think players are taking advantage of MTOs and extended breaks.
