The boys in the WHL are all in chipping in tonight (except Valimaki who's still not playing).
Dube and Phillips are playing each other. 5-3 Kelowna in the 2nd period, Phillips has 1g, 2a, Dube has 1g, 1a.
Fischer has a goal, Spokane is winning 3-2 in the 2nd.
Gawdin has a goal, SC is down 4-2 in the 2nd.

Joly had 1g 2a in a 5-3 win over Gatineau. Good weekend for him as he has 5 pts in his last 2 games.
He now has 15g 25a 40pts in 37 games
Ruzicka and Kyrou are now quite the dynamic duo. Sarnia has won 7 in a row.
Ruzicka 1g+1a in a 6-5 win.
Ruzicka in his last 3 games 6g + 2a with 18 SOG +7.

He’s having a low-key awesome season
I think of all the draft+1 QMJHLers he’s like 2nd or 3rd in points per game
Edit: 6 assists now, and he’s playing center now apparently, I had thought he was a winger

Joly finishes the night with 6 assists in a 10-6 win over Monction. That makes 1g+10a in his last 3 games and 3 straight multi point games. Also puts him 10th in the QMJHL for pts/g.
38gp 15g 31a 46pts
Ruzicka picks up a 1g+1a in a 6-5 OT loss. 4 straight games with multi point nights. Also this is his first goal since Nov 19 (20 games) that hasn't been assisted by Kyrou.
43gp 27g 25a 52pts

After the way the season started for those two I would have never guessed that Joly would have caught up to Ruzicka in points per game.
1.20 for Ruzicka
1.21 for Joly
Also nice to hear Joly is playing center. Nice to have a couple 6'3 / 6'4 skilled centers putting up numbers in their draft +1 seasons.

Phillips picks up a 1g+1a and was -2 in a 4-3 OT win. Currently on a 9 game point streak. Phillips is 5th in WHL points and 8th in WHL goals

Joly completes the weekend with a goal in a 3-2 loss. Last 4 games he has 2g 10a.
39gp 16g 31a 47pts. Last season he had 66gp 16g 32a 48pts.
Ruzicka scored his 100th OHL point in his 106th OHL game. Finished the night with 2g+1a which includes the game winner. Named 1st star. Ruzicka is on a 7 game goal streak where he has scored 10g and 4a in that span.
45gp 30g 26a 56pts
Gawdin scored his 40th goal of the season in a 4-1 win over Regina. Gawdin is on a 10 game point streak where he has scored 8g + 9a in that span. Gawdin is 4th in WHL points, 4th in WHL goals, 3rd in WHL assists, 2nd in WHL PP goals, 5th in WHL PP assists, and 2nd in WHL +/-

Juuso was back in the lineup last night. Seemed like limited shifts and was still trying to get his skates back underneath him. TriCity is looking strong going into the stretch with Rasmussen returning earlier in the week for surgery.

Gawdin has pulled to within 1 point of first place WHL scoring. Also Phillips recent hot streak has gotten him up to 5th place. So the Flames have two players in top 5 of the WHL scoring race.
Granted, in points per game they drop to 4th and 9th overall but still pretty cool.
