Oh Staples has already declared the Oilers as the odds of favorites for the cup and noone else is on their level, and he's not the only one.

There's a reason why the Oilers deserve nothing, they cry about reffing, they cry about the NHL holding them down. They sucked their way to multiple top draft picks and wrecked more then one of them and then cried about that.

Their fans are arrogant and blind and they are the biggest suckiest sucks that ever sucked.

I've always said that every other franchise should have a goal horn in their building that launches a cruise missile at the city of edmonton everytime their team scores.

The city and the franchise are one big crater filled with stank water and the Oilers and the fans don't realize it.

For me, I get pleasure from the Flames winning and the Oilers losing. Sometimes I even find I am "happier" when the Oilers lose than when the flames win (and the flames are the only team I cheer for). Going forwards, I am going to revel in the joy of watching the Oilers flail and cackle like a bunch of barnyard chickens once the playoffs get started. I do not care who they play - that team becomes my favourite team. May they suffer a horrible defeat and wipe that smug smile off the face of the Oiler fans (think of Newman from Seinfeld saying all of this :>)
