With Boston and (potentially) Minnesota losing, today is a good day. Just hope that no Flames get injured!

Also I hope Nashville wins

Poor Habs. Hit the 96 point snake while finishing 14th overall ahead of last years cup finalist and miss they playoffs.

Great turnaround for them though. Had a way better season than expected.

Yeah 14th while the 3 teams below them are in. Must be frustrating for the fans but they'll be good next year.

I wanted no part of Ben Bishop in the first round. Let the Preds take them out.

Makes up for 2010 when they made the playoffs after finishing 19th overall and ended up going to the Conference Final.

Interesting that the Avs started Varlamov. I wonder if that was the plan all along or if they decided not to play Grubauer once Dallas clinched the 1st wildcard...

'Hawks ended up playing for about 5 minutes in the first, then it was all Preds. It looks like it was bad goaltending, but, Ward was stellar, the damn Preds should have scored double digits with my guy's awful turnovers, wretched coverage, and useless PK.
