Cheering for the U.S team just doesn't seem right though!

I had no problems doing that when Gaudreau destroyed RNH's captained team.

USA has divided their camp into two teams:

spoilered for size
Spoiler!

edit because someone will freak out: the line combos and pairings are meaningless, all the players are listed in alphabetical order

So there is no Auston Matthews at this exhibition tournament? Is that because he will be expected to play in TO for the full year?

Well yeah he'll be an NHLer for sure. But also he's on Team NA at the World Cup. He played pro last year even.

He's graduated, he's not a junior.

Nope, neither was invited. Kylington is also eligible for the WJC, wasn't invited.

Looks like Kylington is still on the radar for Sweden:

Swedens World Junior coach Tomas Monten on Calgary prospect Oliver Kylington who is not at the camp: Oliver made a big jump in the AHL last season and from what I've heard from Calgary he's progressing how they want. I've had talks with Oliver and will follow him closely at the start of the season. I think he can be a guy on our team in the end.

News Update

And no Tkachuk on ice for the rest of the camp:

Corey Pronman @coreypronman
Matthew Tkachuk -CGY and Colin White -OTT out for the World Junior camp. White is recovering from documented surgery. Tkachuk playing safe.

Two games today:

USA White vs. SWE - 1pm ET
USA Blue vs. FIN - 4pm ET

The white and Blue team rosters have been listed above.

Unfortunately the only stream of these games is on fasthockey.com which is a subscription based streaming service. I remember a few years ago you could buy individual games, but it looks like they changed their pricing model and only sell monthly and yearly subscriptions.

Live scoreboard should be here:

Team Blue 3rd line centre (sorry US team I mean center) Greenway between Novak and Thompson.

This is not alphabetical.

This clearly means Tkachuk is the fourth liner on the second team.

I call for a complete and total CP freakout. I'm talking pitchforks and torches here!

They think he's the 8th best left-winger!

I think they're punishing him for being drafted by a Canadian team and saying he is happy about it. Not to mention the whole playing in the CHL issue. Conspiracy! How soon can we get him a Canadian passport. Write your member of parliment immediately.

Team White lost to Sweden 6-3.

Parsons made 14 saves on 17 shots in 30 minutes of play.

Game recap: http://teamusa.usahockey.com/news_ar...rrer_id=701370

Looking on twitter doesn't seem Fox made any good or negative impressions.

FWIW highlights:

Fox is 27 in White, but I don't see him in the package. edit: maybe that is him on the ice for Sweden's 4th goal

Parssons was the goalie scored on for the first 3 Swedish goals.

Julie Robenhymer @JulieRobenhymer
FYI: Tkachuk is not hurt, but has been kept off the ice because he's had a short summer. Just here to get to know the coaches and players.
