Meh. That's my reaction. Meh.
I do wish they'd stop using black altogether. Where did this come from? Who decided that black made sense as one of our national colours?
Leaving aside the pattern on the inside of the logo, the 2010 Olympic jersey got it right.

They look like every other team Canada jersey ever made.
I find it hilarious when people say the like one and not the other. Besides the ones with the lettermark, they have all been slight variations of each other.

Wait - is the Hockey Canada logo surrounded by a gold border? Facepalm. Enough of that crap. That was the worst thing about the 2014 jersey, and I own one.
I think the best aesthetic change they could make would be to just change the black part of the Hockey Canada logo to red. Then they wouldn't feel the need to have other black details on the jersey.

I still think the 1998 Nagano jerseys are the nicest ones. Not perfect, but nice. The silver works well with the colour scheme.
