O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.

Pretty fair deal. Dumba hasn't accomplished much at the NHL level and still needs to show a lot more. This contract will be a good test for him and pays him pretty good. Don't think he's worth any more than this type of bridge contract.

I think it's a fair deal for Dumba which is why I always found it hilarious that Edmonton was rumoured to be looking to acquire him as some sort of answer to their problems. He's decent but not great.
