His natural position is more of a winger or deeper attacking mid. Hes not you stereotypical big #9 target man.
He creates movement and chips in goals, I find he's typically wasted as the primary attacking option. Bayern only played him as a central striker against fairly weak teams in the Bundesliga.

I like Muller on the right the best. The German midfield and back 4 are soooooo slow. Ronaldo could have a field day

Yeah playing Lahm in the midfield makes no sense.
You have some of the best midfield depth in the world so you move a world class RB to midfield and play a lesser player at RB.

I don't mind Ronaldo like I used to, the great play overpowered his annoyingness.

Yeah Ronaldo isn't nearly as bad any more. Gotten rid of a lot of the theatrics as he has gotten older.
