That team is so, so, so BAD it's going to rival the 92-93 Sens team for absolute futility.

Seriously, they'll do well to win more than 10 games this year. Their goaltending and defence is the worst I've seen of an 'NHL team' in years. Just piss poor.

I feel that he has been able to skate on his father's reputation, despite his own mistakes.

I completely agree with your opinion on Bowman. However, I do believe that Arthur Wirtz will be keeping a close eye, and i don't think that he is going to be too gun-shy to make a change.

I can't think of too many teams that haven't experienced a restructuring of their management and coaching staffs when they enter a rebuild, and often there are changed when they are exiting the rebuild. I will be shocked if Bowman is still the GM in the next 2 seasons.

Yeah, you're on the downswing. Thems the breaks.

If Lucifer himself told me that my team could have 3 Cups in 5 years but in exchange my team would suck for 5-10 years I'd sign that contract in Blood and then have a beer with the Devil.

As such you can imagine that my sympathy level for the Hawks and their fans is very, very low.

Rocky Wirtz, grandson of deceased Arthur, has been the owner of the Hawks since
2007.

Not exactly what you want to see in a year where all the top prospects are d-men and none of them approach a Dahlin-level talent.

I'd cut Cal a break! This team is so bad, that a zombie owner may as well be in charge!

They are really jerking Delia around.

Seems like an odd thing to do for a goalie who seems to actually be half decent.

There would always be some kind of sneaky devilry in a deal like that. If that came to be, we would all see the flames somehow moved to Edmonton and renamed the Mcdavids only to win 3 cups. They would at most be AHL cups because we all know anything in Edmonton becomes no good but still.

Sorry Floss, but all I can think about with Chicago being a bad team now from fans is literally this image.

3 cups in 10 years forfeits any feel bad for at least 20 years

12-7-4 with a 0.609 point percentage and +5 goal differential.

Not even close to being as bad as expected.

Patrick Kane is legitimately still a top 3 player in the NHL. Guy is incredible.

They are doing better than expected but lets not forget 9 of the 12 wins are against the Wings and Blue Jackets who both look terrible

Columbus is a .500 team against teams other than Chicago. Sure Detroit stinks, but every division has their weak teams.

I do think Chicago has been a bit lucky this season, but if they finish anywhere close to .500, it would be a miracle considering their injuries. Their rookies have played well, and their young den have played better than expected. If they continue developing, they could well be a playoff team over the next few years.

Pretty good for a team most if all felt would be a bottom feeder. Bowman seems to have done a much better job than many give him credit for. They seem to have good scouts in Europe in getting free talent.

Glad to see the Hawks doing well. Maybe this success, although it is early, may prove the point that players should play and let management do their jobs, Toews (cough, cough).
