I watch a couple streams of Outriders. I don't know if it's just not my style of game, but it looks - extremely bad. The gameplay looks boring, the cutscenes were horribly animated (and voiced) - I'm pretty sure that this is going to be a massive bust.
I only stumbled across this Outriders game about a month ago but after doing my own research if what is being said is to be believed and it's not all lies, then I'm very excited for something new in a genre that I feel is in desperate need of a new direction.
For me the demo has been so much fun, I love the in your face play style and how being offensive gets you your health back. I'm loving the loot, class abilities and it doesn't feel like its going to be a grindy game at all.
I really hope everything they've been touting is true especially since after my youngest was just diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in a scary life moment we both could really use the fun distraction, lol.

Well I really hope you're wrong dude, lol. I would definitely give it a try since the game play is not boring, it's actually very frenetic and so much so that while I played I didn't stop to check my phone once, lol.
The cut scene do look like they're from Mass Effect 2 and the game overall does feel a little bit on budget but for me it was easy to get past since the game's pace and loot have been so rewarding. If you do play, hopefully it hits you the same way it did for me ✌

If people can love the campy graphics of Nintendo switch games, they should be able to easily get over average cutscenes with average acting.
The gameplay and loot has been great so far. I was cautiously optimistic when I first heard about this game but now after playing the demo, I am pretty excited to see what is in the main game.

This looks like the pokemon game I dreamed for as a kid. Looks rough but it's nice to see Game Freak push the boundaries finally.
Not getting my hopes up because most pokemon games end up being a shell of what they could be. So much potential to just run out of things to do after 30 hours this looks exactly like how they marketed sword and shield only to be left underwhelmed with a tiny "open world area" and an incredibly linear game
