Game 1 round two. Ramage leads all rookie ECHL defensemen in scoring. (Deleted picture as it was stupid big)

Coleman just went 17 minutes between facing shots. 0 to 0 3 min to go in the second.

Coleman faced 2 shots in the second period, including an Idaho 5 on 3 with no shots on goal, for a total of 10 on the game. The Aces have 32 shots after 2. These are the scary games. Only takes 1 to win and Idaho's goalie Josh Robinson has nothing but confidence after stopping 84 in his last game and 32 in the first 2 tonight. He is sitting on around 6 periods of shutout hockey.

0 0 after three. Shots 45 to 22. Proves the age old adage, the are many ways to skin a cat but if you don't score any goals you're not winning a hockey game.

I wasn't texting anyone. I was depressed about the loss. Went and got a margarita.

After no goals in game one the Aces put up 6 goals for a 6 to 4 win in game 2. Ramage gets an assist in the win by Roy.

I heard you guys might be able to get Kane LaFranchise back as he was on the Aces playoff roster.

Would he be any help to the roster right now?

A top 4 AHL defensemen...yeah we'd love to have him.

Heh, was looking at the Idaho Steelheads roster and saw a familiar name.....Mitch Wahl.

Anyways, looks as though the Aces won 5-2 to take a 2-1 series lead. Ramage, Elson and Lafranchise each had an assist.

Aces take game 3 with a 4 to 2 win. Roy stopped 20.

With a 2 to 1 win the Aces close out round 2 in 5 games.

write up on Aces last game
Some injuries pop up.
http://www.adn.com/2014/05/08/346195...p=/99/474/475/

Captain Nick Mazzolini was there getting his face sewn back together after a case of friendly fire -- a teammate's aerial pass smacked him. Winger Zach McKelvie had his damaged elbow examined. And defenseman Drew MacKenzie was treated for an undisclosed upper-body injury.
Mazzolini, the league's leading playoff scorer, made it back to the ice for Alaska's commanding third period, wearing a full face-mask instead of the customary half-shield that only protects the upper half of a player's face. He was on the ice for the game-winning, power-play goal by linemate Brendan Connolly, who earlier this season took a stick to the face that resulted in a broken bone below his nose and no small amount of reconstructive dental work.
