Went to ADK game last night

Great game to watch in person. 5,000 people . Big crowd for Glens Falls. Loud building and the return of one of there hometown guys. Dinneen . Toronto's goalie was hot last night. Garrett Sparks was stopping everything they threw his way. Adirondack didn't tie it till late in the 3rd . That was because the Marlies guys knocked the net off on a sure goal. Knight was awarded a penalty shot and he scored a beauty. Ortio was good only allowed 2. Shots where a bit one sided towards the flames but the game went in waves. Marlies had some chances. the new AHL ot rules are great hopefully NHL takes them on some day. Hathaway makes things happen. Devin Setoguchi was out hurt. Sena Acolatse is bad . Makes dumb decisions and even got a bad penalty when the flames where headed on the power play. Got my Turner Elson Red Deer card signed ! Anyways have great day and Happy New Year!

And is it uncommon to get that attendance for the Flames over there?

Those three players all had great games. Ferland was applying good pressure that led the Marlies to intentionally dislodge their net and Knight converted on the ensuing Penalty Shot. Baertschi really showed his skill during OT, which started out 3on3 due to coincidental minors at the end of regulation. Sven had a great feed to Arnold for the OT game winner.

NYE hockey is somewhat of a Glens Falls tradition. My family & I arrived about 15 minutes before game time and got some of the last standing room tickets available. Looks like another good crowd is building for tonight's game.
