The more Alexia the better, IMO.
She far and away is the best part of that show.

Raised by Wolves is not for everyone (especially if you aren't into sci-fi) but I really enjoyed it. The Prometheus connections are intriguing and I found the acting fantastic. I admire how they managed to put such an imaginative story on to the screen and the visuals are fantastic.

Raised by Wolves was phenomenal. I loved it.
Yes, theres some things that dont work as well as others, thats Ridley Scott for you.
But I overlook a lot of that because as a first season its basically just setting the groundwork for whats coming.
Episode 1 was....jaw-dropping? The visuals were incredible. I wont spoil too much but I'll just say....if you're not a fan of people exploding...maybe pass?
And Travis Fimmel??

Has anyone been watching The Good Lord Bird? It's about abolitionist John Brown and the leadup to the Harpers Ferry raid, which was a major catalyst for the US Civil War.
Two episodes in and I'm divided. It's getting better, but I don't fully love it.

For sure, some people will have a tough time, especially since there is a LOT of information thrown at you early on.
The last episode went bonkers through, and in my opinion the twist at the end caused it hard to have any anxiety about characters when it seems that dramatic turn of events can be flip flopped in a second and no one is ever really at risk.
I think they could have done that last episode better. It felt rushed and ruined the stakes of everyones actions.

the kids though. screw those kids and their irrational thoughts and actions. in fact, screw almost all kids that misuse their agency in science fiction or any other genre. I don't care that you just turned 8, stop acting like a dumbass and forcing the good guys to have to fight on two fronts at once.

Yeah there were a few curve balls thrown on the finale but it left me wanting more as there's a lot of interesting paths and unanswered questions.

Is he the SCTV guy that hosted the kids show from a bar?

Looks like it from imdb. Totally forgot about Happy Hour with Happy Marsden. That skit was hilarious.

Happy Hour is one of my favourite SCTV sketches so I was really happy to see Hemphill on Schitt's Creek. Robin Duke, another SCTV alumn, was also on the show as the owner of a clothing store.

She was so hard to believe when she was scolding Kevin in Home Alone. I would have just burst out laughing.
New topic. Who are Canada's greatest actresses?
Other than Shannon Tweed!
My vote is Sarah Polley.

Has Sarah Polley acted in anything since The Sweet Hereafter?
I would probably say somebody like Sandra Oh.

Sandra Oh is more TV grouped with Cobi Smulders, Kim Cattrall, etc and personally I think she's pretty average. McAdams, Ellen Page, Carrie-Anne-Moss probably if we are talking about motion pictures. O'Hara is kind of in-between TV and movie like Anna Paquin.

Google tells me the answer is Mary Pickford. First name to jump to my head is Catherine O'hara. When you put a list in front of me, Ellen Page pops out. I always enjoy her work.

Evangeline Lilly has had some prominent roles in some very acclaimed films.
