Would have taken him at that price but I think he is pretty happy after finding a good home in Colorado.

Yeah definitely wouldn’t have minded picking him up at that price, but he has found success with the aves, so makes sense for him to go back.

Glad he's been able to turn his career around. Always like him and hoped he could put it all together. He'll never be the highly touted scorer he was projected to be. But I have always wanted him on the Flames ever since he went back to Russia. Glad to see his reclamation project has worked out for him.

He’s really committed himself to the bottom-6 role, never stops moving and just doesn’t give the opposition a break. It’s always interesting when a skilled guy completely changes their game and re-invents themselves (Joel Armia is another one)
