Fast is a player I have been pounding the table for the Flames to acquire (previously) or sign (now) for a couple years now. Right-shot RW who works hard all over the rink, is sound defensively, hits everything that moves, and can skate well. He's like the RW Sam Bennett minus the dumb penalties as he's finished positive in penalty differential every season he's played in the NHL.
And when we talk intangibles, he just won the Rangers teammate of the year - as voted on by the players themselves - for the fifth consecutive season. Big add to the dressing room.
