What? Ghost is terrible defensively. He is a 3rd pair, PP specialist. He is Barrie-lite. But worse defensively.

So many young defensemen come into the league with tons of confidence, and get very sheltered minutes with a chance to put up points.

Fans freak out and think they are stars in the making. Then they are asked to play defense against good NHL players. Then reality crashes down upon them.

This seems quite high for him. I suppose you sort of get your money's worth if you give him top 4 minutes but then you also end up having to deal with the problems that come with playing him 15-17 min a night. I see him getting career highs in points next year with an ugly +/- rating.
