Default A CP Collaboration World Premiere! FBI and Puppet Guy

'Afternoon, CP.

A little over a month ago, I was contacted by fellow CPer FBI, who was wondering if I'd ever made one of my videos for anyone other than CP. Turns out FBI is an accomplished musician, and he and his girlfriend had written a song, and wanted a video. Well, after a lot of emails and some brainstorming, FBI's song has been brought to life!

I've been given the privilege of sharing this all with you - Old School Christmas, music and lyrics by Damien Blond and Angie West, and the video by me! Please give this a listen and a watch, and enjoy.

FBI, thanks for thinking of me - I had a lot of fun and learned even more in the process.

Man, that must have taken many hours to put together. Nice job Puppet Guy.

Song is decent, too.

Thanks.

The animation alone took about twelve hours. I didn't keep a production log, but all of it ate up my spare time for six weeks.

The song is pretty fun, isn't it?

Love love love this! Puppet guy was the consummate professional (who knew and did a great job paying attention to details.

It brought our song to life for a fun positive Christmas experience. Highly recommend if you want some still animation like this for your own videos!

Super fun and I’m going to show it to my kiddos (the little puppets) in a few days for an early Christmas present and they are going to love it!

I think Stop Motion film making is a lost art in the modern days of CGI'ing everything. I mean frankly one of the best modern examples is Robot Chicken which is brilliantly done.

I loved the old monster movies with the stop motion monsters, or even a comedy like Caveman where the dinosaurs were done with stop motion.

I would love to do something with you someday Puppet Guy, maybe come up with a story that could be told.

Stop motion is maybe not a lost art, but it's definitely fading. It's a shame, because it has a certain charm to it. And well done animation like Wallace and Gromit or Jason and the Argonauts is just as exciting as anything with computers.

Captain, I'm totally on board with working with you on something. Between the two of us I'm sure we'd unleash some glorious screen atrocities !

There is a tremendous amount of talent on display here. Both in the composition and singing of the song and the accompanying animation. I'm hoping I can refer to it every Christmas as an ongoing tradition. Bravo to all involved.

I'm in on something like that, it could be hilarious.

It doesn't even have to be a royal rumble to have drama.
