UCS Millennium Falcon dropped this morning. Took two hours wrestling with Lego's website before my order got through. Biggest set ever made.

Surprisingly the set is cheaper with exchange factored in here than in US and Europe.

At least you got through. Congrats! 😀

I fought with that horrible site for 2 hours until it finally went OOS before I was ever able to complete an order.

I went to the Chinook store. The mall opened at 6am. I was there at 7:20. I got the last one of the 22 they had for VIP release. I asked the clerk when people got there this morning, and he said that security had told him that the first dozen showed up around 4am...

Spoiler for size

Spoiler!

See, CC...I'd love to build something like that. No idea where I'd keep it or what I'd do with it after, though. I would need the pieces and instructions, though...I admit I just don't have the imagination or drive to make something like that myself.

But I'd love to BUILD it.

It is because the Canadian dollar has gone up quite a bit in the past few months. So any companies that haven't updated their prices are lower in CAD.

Just reading through it, he did create a smaller model with instructions and posted them on youtube.

There are some amazing custom builds and not just Star trek, there's a Nimitz Class aircraft carrier that has to be about 15 feet long.

So how long is it going to take to sort through all of the parts?

Presumably the bags are numbered and correlate to specific parts of the build, but still---there are going to be a lot of gray parts and sorting them all for building is probably going to take a while.

How think are the building instructions? My technic mobile crane manual was about an inch thick.
