That’s the song that got me into them. It got played a lot on CJSW. I preferred the poppier songs of Grant McLennan, but Forster is still a great songwriter, and fortunately still putting out music.

Cattle and Cane is the first song on my favourite songs playlist. It’s perfect.

Because I've been obsessed for the past few days with the Cat Empire, here is their new album, Stolen Diamonds - came out in Feb. Album has more African beats than previous albums did, and lots of crowd pleasers:
