It's so good I'd have paid to upgrade. It is, without a doubt, the best internet radio app out there, and I know there are fans on this board that will be delighted to hear its been updated for the iPad.
I don't even have an iPad, and I think that's awesome news.

TuneIn Radio is one of about three or four can't-live-without apps I've gleaned from this 170000000 page thread.

It was reported today that Apple sold 80 million iPads in 3 months.

Thought this was noteworthy. It's actually eating away at the netbook market in it's first year.

^ I really can not imagine my life without the IPad now. My laptop sits at home broken, never to be repaired. It is just so damn handy, so damn portable and so damn easy to use.

This is a great quote from Daring Fireball today:

Two years. Three at the most.

That’s how long Acer CEO Gianfranco Lanci figures it will take his company to overwhelm the iPad and commandeer Apple’s early lead in the tablet PC market.

^ While I do agree with the idea that the iPad's initial numbers are a slight over-representation of the devices true long term potential, Acer is on crack if they think they can dethrone it with anything that resembles the quality of the products that they have produced in recent memory.

Nowhere has it been reported that they've sold 80 million iPads. Do a Google News search even...

The proper number is 3 million in 80 days, not 80 million in 3 months. Regardless, it's a lot of iPad.

Let's not fight over it.

Should I stand behind my original numbers just to rep the fanboyism?

So can an iPad connect to a windows network share? How do people manage their iTunes libraries and photo libraries with an iPad.

I know someone who's thinking of getting one primarily for a web surfing device, but he has a tonne of pictures on his old non-mac laptop and his itunes.

Can anyone explain how this is handled with an iPad?
