Sitting there now, as in sitting there now in the Canada Pension Plan.

I'm a Canadian first, not an Albertan first. The money "we" are "overpaying" is going to all Canadians. Why the #### do we think we are so goddamn special? When the tide turns on oil, we may need support form our fellow Canadians, yet we approach them with a gun in our hand. What is wrong with these people? We didn't do anything ourselves to end up with oil, we just got fortunate. To lord it over the rest of the country every chance we get is ####ing embarrassing. Stop it.

Agreed it will work, but it's not really an Alberta thing. It's the same mindset for Conservatives everywhere. They just have a selfish, poisonous, short-sighted ideology. Too bad we have a critical mass of them here, but it just seems they're an infection all over the world. It's so hard to understand their perspective.

Pathetic the only thing you missed was “unacceptable views”.
Get a grip you and your political opinions are no better than anyone else’s.
Only a moron would think that either Liberals or Conservatives have all the answers.
Intolerance has to be some form of an IQ test.

This is a pretty special quote from the person who continually bags on poor people. I would say you hit the nail on the head.

Fiscal conservatives my ass.
I often wonder too, if an APP is so important, why don't they lobby for an Alberta EI program too?
(Other than that they're both ####ing dumb ideas)

Have you considered a run for office? If this is the platform, I'd vote for it! I won't put a sign on my lawn, or a sticker on my car with the slogan, but it does have a nice ring to it!

Trying to push through the pension reform before letting Albertans chose which mandate they would like for the next 4 years. Classless.

Of course some political opinions are better than others.
Tell me you know this, dude. If you're serious you think all political opinions are equal your personality just came into sharp focus for me. What are we discussing things with you for?! You're beyond hope if you don't realize some stances are better than others and you should gravitate toward those.
Are you a character some crappy AI made up to be one-dimensional and boringly easy to outsmart? I hope they fine-tune your algorithm a bit because I see potential for a bot to come onto these forums to offer interesting opinions, but you're not there yet.
Currently, what are conservative opinions that are better than the alternatives? Is it the one where we underfund hospitals while giving cheques to average Joes? Is it the one where we embrace anti-science stances for ideological reasons? It is the one where we lower taxes on the wealthy?
Sorry, but I'm not married to any one party. I vote for whoever will to the best by society as a whole - even if it is counter to my personal interests.
But all kidding aside, do you have a list of things the UCP is doing that is better for society than the view the NDP would take. I swear on my life I'd happily vote UCP if they were the better party for Albertans. Nothing about my personality is tied to any party.

Albertans don't like it and while we haven't figured it out yet we think the math is going to be compelling is not exactly a strong argument for an Alberta Pension Plan.

I for one welcome our new AI overlords, because that was the best damned response I ever seen.

To be fair, it wasn’t a hard test.
It’s astounding that any half-educated human being would even entertain the idea that all political opinions are equal. Yoho’s over here trying to pretend support for the Nazi Party is just as valid as support for the Conservatives, Liberals, or NDP lol. “They’re all equal!”
Embarrassing.

It spit that out response quickly too. I think the scariest thing about AI in the future is it could make it so politicians don’t come off as insane as they actually are.

Are you really that desperate to play the victim card? Not everyone is going to agree with everyone on everything but most of us don’t feel the need to throw ourselves a pity party when it happens. The only people I’ve ever heard call the faux freedom crowd’s views unacceptable is the faux freedom crowd themselves.
