And now he is taking credit for making NATO relevant. Good lord, how did the world not completely implode without him? LOSER.

Reading Breitbart tonight is fun after all the flip-flopping. Ann Coulter is pleading for Trump to "come home like Lassie". Oh their tears...yummy.

Quote:
Just days before the state visit of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to Mar-a-Lago, President Donald Trump’s Palm Beach private club, Florida restaurant inspectors found potentially dangerous raw fish and cited the club for storing food in two broken down coolers.

Inspectors found 13 violations at the fancy club’s kitchen, according to recently published reports — a record for an institution that charges $200,000 in initiation fees.

Three of the violations were deemed “high priority,” meaning that they could allow the presence of illness-causing bacteria on plates served in the dining room.

According to their latest visit to the club Jan. 26, state inspectors decided Mar-a-Lago’s kitchen did meet the minimum standards.

But they had a field day with elements that could give members of the high-class club and foreign dignitaries some pause:

▪ Fish designed to be served raw or undercooked, the inspection report reads, had not undergone proper parasite destruction. Kitchen staffers were ordered to cook the fish immediately or throw it out.

▪ In two of the club’s coolers, inspectors found that raw meats that should be stored at 41 degrees were much too warm and potentially dangerous: chicken was 49 degrees, duck clocked in a 50 degrees and raw beef was 50 degrees. The winner? Ham at 57 degrees.

▪ The club was cited for not maintaining the coolers in proper working order and was ordered to have them emptied immediately and repaired.

The other violations weren’t so serious. Water at the sink where employees wash their hands was too cold to sanitize hands. And Mar-a-Lago was also written up for keeping rusted shelves inside walk-in coolers.

Contaminated again in Margaritaville,
Throwin' up my last helping of sole.
Some people claim that there's a cooler to blame,
But I know it's Obama's fault.

Well, they weren't flagged for storing Polonium in their fridge, so that's a positive.

British, French and Dutch Intelligence knew of the extensive nature of Trump's Russian ties within his campaign and his contacts with known/suspected Russian spies as early as 2015. US Intelligence and Counter Intelligence was slow to respond because of US laws not to examine their own citizens.

Quote:
Britain’s spy agencies played a crucial role in alerting their counterparts in Washington to contacts between members of Donald Trump’s campaign team and Russian intelligence operatives, the Guardian has been told.

GCHQ first became aware in late 2015 of suspicious “interactions” between figures connected to Trump and known or suspected Russian agents, a source close to UK intelligence said. This intelligence was passed to the US as part of a routine exchange of information, they added.

Over the next six months, until summer 2016, a number of western agencies shared further information on contacts between Trump’s inner circle and Russians, sources said.

The European countries that passed on electronic intelligence – known as sigint – included Germany, Estonia and Poland. Australia, a member of the “Five Eyes” spying alliance that also includes the US, UK, Canada and New Zealand, also relayed material, one source said.

Another source suggested the Dutch and the French spy agency, the General Directorate for External Security or DGSE, were contributors.

The Guardian has been told the FBI and the CIA were slow to appreciate the extensive nature of contacts between Trump’s team and Moscow ahead of the US election. This was in part due to US law that prohibits US agencies from examining the private communications of American citizens without warrants. “They are trained not to do this,” the source stressed.

In his defense, I think he was expecting more questions about the White House's ongoing Bolognium leak, and just jumbled the two together.

Edit: Whoops, I thought the post was a reference to Spicer talking about Plutonium. I guess I'll just pretend it was...

I think I would have taken this better if the President was an actual brainwashed Manchurian candidate instead of... Trump...

The US military has dropped an enormous bomb in Afghanistan according to four US military officials with direct knowledge of the mission.

A GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast Bomb — nicknamed the "Mother of All Bombs" (MOAB) — was dropped in at 7 p.m. local time Thursday, sources said.

This is the first time a MOAB has been used in the battlefield, according to the US officials.

Trump has figured out what his predecessors knew from the beginning: bombing other countries is a great way to pump up the approval numbers. Neocons have regained control of the White House, hence why Bannon is on his way out.

I wonder how well this works for the neocons. Before they had Hussein invading Kuwait and then they had the excuse of 9/11. Does the excuse of "last administration didn't do anything" truly hold up as they start to bleed money and at some point lives. Because you know the Syria thing and the big bomb in Afghanistan is just rah rah America to grease the skids for further deployments.

It's the future deployments thing that will be the test. I don't think the public on either side of the aisle has a stomach for that. Make no mistake the military complex expects increased engagement as they are increasing recruitment quotas.

Also amazing that these things just so happen to occur when big news about ties to Russia get back in the news.
