Just popped into best buy 17 Ave, the lineup was insane and all copies of ghosts were gone. Only a few left of the other two as well. Not sure if anyone can expect to find much later in the day. Wasn't worth the wait for me so I left.

I thought about going to Best Buy Cambie and trying but I think I'll pass based on how insane lineups in other locations are and I really have no personal use for any of the games except maybe AC4 which I could try and upgrade to the PS4 version which I already have pre-ordered.
I do want to play COD: Ghosts and Battlefield 4 but only for the PC so I would have just tried to trade them in anyway. But I don't think it's worth the Seabus ticket and time to go wait in line for something I'm probably not going to end up being able to get anyway.

The line at the Shawnessy Future Shop was absolutely ridiculous and they said they only had COD left. Now I'm at Best Buy in Deerfoot Meadows and the line isn't quite as bad.

Just got back from future shop and best buy. Waited in line from 8:30 at future shop. Walked right into best buy after getting a free game at future shop and only waited 15 min in line at best buy for a second free game.

Future Shop in Shawnessy was hilarious. I think they screwed up because they were allowing us to trade 3 for 3. I got all 3 for basically nothing. I showed up a little early, was 7th in line and it STILL took me 25 minutes to get processed. The line was easily 150-200 people long. The cashier looked absolutely terrified, it was awesome. The line snaked past the people at the cashiers, so they could see we all had all 3 games. They were very unimpressed.

That was crazy. Was able to get all three games but those lines were madness.
Buddy in Edmonton went to the Best Buy near his house and they didn't even have a line. Walked right in and grabbed the game he wanted.

Only took me about an hour and a half at Best Buy in Deerfoot Meadows.
Traded in NHL 08 for Assassin's creed, which I will be trading to a friend who got BF4 when AC was "sold out" at his location.
I think if I had to wait more than 2-2.5 hours it wouldn't have been worth it. 1.5 hours isn't bad though.

Took me about an hour at Deerfoot Meadows this morning for Black Flag, for Madden 07. LOL, what a deal.
One of my favourite parts of moving back is being finally able to capitalize on the random crazy deals that pop up on CP. Been here just over 2 months and so far got AC for basically free, and a Flames retro for $35. Keep up the awesome sleuth work CP!

I got COD and B4 after a little over an hour at the Robson store. Weather was nice, and the people in the lineup were pretty cool. Not a bad experience at all.
Headed to Cambie after to see what it was like and it looked much worse.

What a waste of time. The fine print on the deal said one per customer but that wasn't enforced at all. I ended up leaving when they announced that most of the games were gone and that they didn't anticipate the amount of people that would show up.

deerfoot meadows FS walked in with nhl09, walked out with cod:ghosts for 360.
5 min, no lines (3-4 people at register), lots of ps3 and 360 copies
no more bf4, looked like there were some ac4
