The Flames can certainly beat both the Jets and Blues.

Vegas not so much.

With Lightning out, and the now the Flames have home ice for the ENTIRE playoffs, it would be a damn shame to not take advantage of this opportunity.

Hoping Flames can get their head out of their asses, and tie the series up tomorrow to avoid joining Lightning and Pens in teams with unexpected (well, for them and not Flames perhaps) very early exits.

I think the Flames can beat Vegas. It would be a tough series, but they can definitely do it if they bring their A-game. Win or lose though, I think it will be a hell of a fun series if the Flames get through this round and face off against them. That is the match up I would most look forward to watching in the West this year.

That would be Bettman's worst nightmare, with no big market teams, no original six, he would cancel and ask them to replay the semi finals

If they won the first two games of the series they could, Vegas isnt a good road team

Really? I feel the exact opposite.

In order of most to least confidence in a Flames win it would go Vegas, Jets, Blues.

But let’s just focus on getting past the Avs first.

Monahan and Gaudreau can't even handle the Avs, they are going to be able to handle a bigger Vegas squad?

Enough with the Vegas isn't a good road team. Has nobody learned yet the regular season is irrelevant?

The Flames are struggling to beat the Avs (a 1 line team), yet they are going to stop Vegas who has a lethal top 9?

But first things first, need the Flames to actually show up vs Colorado.

It’s not the Avs size that has been the issue it’s been the speed.

Flames could potentially beat Vegas if they play quick and execute - which is the issue against the Avs too and has been for large stretches post all star break.
