Fritou is our go to choice - very good IMO.

Well, I guess I was just unlucky then. But both times I've had it, it was so bad that I'll not go back.

I had Fritou chicken once and never again, long wait for very bland chicken, might as well save myself time and money and get a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store.

130 Ave. No spice, no grease, thin skin, just dry bland chicken. I've still had sex that was worse.

Unless you like seasoning on your chicken. Why no salt Korea?

Speaking of Fritou, my co-worker who recommended told me that going to the right location was essential.

The Canyon Meadows one has always been pretty good, ask for it spicy, it's even better.

While I can’t really comment on the last part, I can confirm the 130th Fritou is not great. Generally I do like Fritou though, so seemingly just a bad franchisee.

If a chicken place can do chicken tenders and chicken sandwiches, what else can one ask?

I really don't understand how people can eat bone-in fried chicken, but I'm also emotionally a 12 year old.

Obviously you've never had the Claresholm 7-11 fried chicken. It's drive-worthy.

Fixed your post. They changed it about a year ago to be the same crap you get at 7-11s in Calgary. They used to be a "must stop" any time we were going south. Not any more.

I just tried the fried chicken from Country Pizza near the new T&T. It turned out to be really good, I might put it a notch above Fritou's and the spicy chicken had better heat to it. I think its prepared pretty similarly to how Fritou does it.
