Just finished the series. Amazing. They did such a good job or running multiple interesting storylines and having them all logically converge.

Finished it early this morning as well, loved it, much more than I thought I would. Having great comedic actors fill in small roles was brilliant as well. Matt Berry as Codsworth/Snip Snip, Chris Parnell as a Vault Overseer, Fred Armisin playing himself.

I finished it late last night as well.

Again...I'm a non-game player...but holy hell I loved this show. The hope combined with the just base-level cynicism and then the complete hopelessness.

There is something about Evil Global Corporation doing Evil Corporate things that grabs me, so that worked for me too.

The themes worked for me. Its definitely going to require a re-watch because I dont really think I genuinely got a few things, like caught why the Ghouls are a thing, etc.

But I mean...for something thats supposed to look like post-apocalyptic hell it looked it. That was fantastic. The sets and everything were amazing.

The mech suits were great. And the acting, I mean, like BigThief up there says, everyone was excellent.

I thought Ella Purnell as the main character? Man...she was given a tough role. To be smart but naive, tough but forgiving and a complete fish out of water with no understanding of her surroundings? I think she killed it.

That can't have been easy but I think she probably had some fun doing it and personally I think she nailed it.

I'm not going to go through the entire list, but there were so many little bit-part people that were just great. I'll single out Zach Cherry, killed every scene he was in.

Spoiler!

If I had one complaint it would the almost criminal under-use of Matt Berry. But then again I want him in every scene and we're not going to get that.

Moises Arias was great. Again, he was given a hard role, its secondary, potentially even tertiary, its subtle but critical to the story and I think he plays it really well.

And Walton Goddamned Goggins.

I dont think I have to really say anything about him. That must have been fun for him because his character was all over the goddamned place. Really very fun and in typical Goggins fashion he Gogginsed it up and pretty much stole the show.

Honestly, I dont think there is any element of this show that I could genuinely point at and say: "There. That. That was the weakest link."

Never played the games before but watched all 8 episodes over 2 days and loved it!

Walter Goggins was fantastic, and I’m looking forward to season 2 already.

Could you imagine Matt Berry as the Ultimate Ruler of the Post-Apocalyptic world? Thats the show I want to see.

Like 'Mad Max' but their ruler is Matt Berry.

Be honest...everyone wants to see that.

Watched 2 episodes a night and loved it all. Walter Goggins stole the show and I loved his final episode shenanigans as you can't help but root for him.

I know it's probably an autocorrect thing, but it's Walton. Let's give the man his proper due, for duck's sake!

Really liked episode 1 but found episode 2 pretty cheesy.
I haven't played the games so guessing that style is true to the game though.
Will definitely keep going but that's my feel so far.

Caught two episodes in my flight to Cancun today. Definitely enough to keep me going, thought the first two were well done

Only watched the first 2 episodes so far. They really nailed the aesthetics and set design and lots to like. The cameo by Michael Rapaport was great.

I like the attention to detail with the video game, like how when she saw the bobblehead in shop, then got the urge to intervene. Kind of like how in the game, finding a bobblehead gives you a perk

It's too early to judge, but the dad stealing aspect of the story line doesn't intrigue me as much as the video game plot when it was her child stolen. I'll see where it goes though, not a show stopper by any means.

Out of the 3 storylines, I have to say, I think I liked the ghouls the best. They had to cast a pretty amazing actor to be able to fill what's essentially 2 different roles, and still be effective under all that makeup.

Absolutely nailed it.

I thought that was him, but the character looked too young to be Rapaport.

I had to look it up on IMDB to be sure.

Regarding the storyline, I keep forgetting that it isn't a Fallout 4 specific show, but just based on the Fallout universe. I can see why they didn't go with the video game storyline for Fallout 4 where the protagonist was in hibernation during the vault chaos. Having the vault chaos as part of the show just gives them a lot more material to work with.

I do hope that they have a Nick Valentine kind of character at some point.

Yeah this was great. Nailed the games and it’s probably my favorite tv mini series in the last few years. Only ones close are Shogun and Queens Gambit. I did find it funny the first couple pages were someone saying it would be crap and the universal reaction from fans and newbies alike is that this is great. 10/10 home run knocked it out of the park goodness.
