I want Qatar to win the tournament, knock out both Mexico and the US.
Qatar is really good and they've sent their full team.

Seems odd that Group A and B get 2 extra days of rest between the groups ending and quarter finals compared to the teams they end up playing.

Grenada likely to take it on the chin today as Panama looks to make up the goal differential.

Qatar just need a draw.
It's not odd at all. The extra days rest are for US and Mexico. This tournament is as rigged for a Mexico-US final in Las Vegas as it gets.

So more peak CONCACAF, there's a monsoon in Orlando. Costa Rica-Jamaica suspended/abandoned? Panama-Grenada will try to go to kick off at the same time as Honduras-Qatar?
I guess Canada will play Costa Rica in the QF? Stay tuned.

So Costa Rica-Jamaica have kicked off finally, but so will Honruas-Qatar. If Qatar win or draw it'll be moot but if they lose, Panama will know know what they need to do. So much for simultaneous kickoffs.

And Costa Rica lead Jamaica 1-0 but CR’s keeper has been sent off. 10 minutes to go. Also live on YouTube on OneSoccer’s channel.

Through to the semis! Mexico will be a tall task on Thursday, but full credit to Herdman and this team. Without Davies and David to start, losing Larin and Akinola and still cruising along. Thoroughly outplayed US in the loss, it would be a dream to see them in the final....

Awesome. This might be a down year in Concacaf. WC qualifying looks good.

First time Canada has made the semis in 14 years and that's without Davies, David or Larin. He'll of a tournament. Eustaquio and Buchanan looks like absolute studs.
Herdman may have taken over the national team role in a shady manner but no doubt he is the right man for the job

Surprised by the result given the guys missing the game. Not sure what kind of lineup Costa Rica is using, but a good result.

It is a great result because it gets them some confidence beating a team like CRC..that is job 1 for who they’ll have to beat to make it to the WC.
It also gets them an extra game now, and first hand experience playing against, the Mexicans, which hopefully should serve them well later on. Face it, getting any points off them or the Americans will be almost a win in the Wcq.

Bring on Mexico!
Great to get a game called them prior to WCQ.

I know the real test will be in the Ocho, but I think this Gold Cup result finally shows that Herdman was in fact the right choice for the manager role. With how we've shown lately vs the US and Costa Rica, we genuinely look like a squad that can get into the World Cup. Haven't been this confident in the men's team getting results since....ever...

My face is a bum!

The result is awesome, I wish I didn't have to be pissed about the suspensions. Will Mexico be missing anyone of note?

Blame Cavallini for that suspension. He constantly tackles in a reckless manner, often from behind, and is a yellow card machine.

Will practically be a home game for Mexico being in Houston and I assume being Texas there will be a full stadium.

Promising gold cup and form for the CMNT.
Can they get it done away in Central America in WCQ? That's the big question.

Hope so too!
And I think the Qataris smoke the Americans. It's a very poor experimental American team against the full Qatari team.
