This should be taken as seriously as Police-caused death. Outcome less severe? Sure. Same type of personality who should not be allowed to be a police officer? Absolutely.

I have to assume this is a criminal offence of some sort.

Body cam footage is here with comment from the police.

TLDR the baggie was empty, no one was being arrested, it was just a regular fear and harassment stop. Not a plant evidence and arrest black people stop.

... You know, I always say to wait for the context for a video before passing judgment on it, no matter how bad it looks at a glance.

I should really have taken my own advice.

"Ivan Ooze" is also a name that fails to inspire relentless confidence.

Why in the #### would they chuck it back in the vehicle?

They don't advise it? Even if they wanted to own that they advise against it or prohibit it, why the #### would that cop chuck it back in the vehicle? We don't see a lot from either video perspective, but damn that's shady.

That's some shady ####.

But why though?

Is there a 'Prick Quota?' Are Police not allowed to just do their jobs without being entitled pricks?

Is it contractually required by their union that they have to be pricks a certain number of hours per month?

Yeah, even the resident ACAB commie thinks this vid is pretty weak. The cop is a moron, but that's about it.

If the office was just "discarding" the plastic bag in the vehicle, then why does he put on a glove right after as if he were about to start collecting evidence?

I thought it was weird too, but I kind of just assume he grabbed the bag because it was handed to him and it reminded him to put on his gloves.

My wife had an uncle named Adolf. He never legally changed it that I’m aware but he stopped using it and went by his middle name.

Why wouldn’t the cop just return the bag to whoever he took it from?
