Okay, that confirms my memory that the episode was bumped in Calgary.

His episode aired on Tuesday, July 14, 1987. The MLB All Star Game was on Tuesday, July 14, 1987 and was broadcast on NBC (which is the Spokane channel that aired Jeopardy at the time). On top of that, the ASG went 13 innings (scoreless until the top of the 13th -- crazy). That's why it wouldn't have aired as scheduled here.
