Default QC vs. Iowa question

Read on HF today that the Dallas Stars are pulling their farm team from Iowa, and planning on relocating to Austin, TX with the provision that Des Moines gets a new team as well..

From what I've read (and seen here), Omaha and Iowa had a decent rivalry, has that transferred at all to the Quad Cities?

PS: I'd call it the Battle of Iowa but I know your rink is in Illinois, didn't want to ignore those of you from the Land of Lincoln.

from what i have seen, there isn't anything especially tense with iowa. for the last 2 years they were indeed the closest team to omaha. but here in the qc, people traditionally hate rockford from their old uhl days, and the peoria games have seemed more intense than any and provide just as close a geographical rivalry.
i haven't been to all the games to see what intensity might have occured, but i think i have seen each of the division teams a couple times now.
