While we're on this line of thought, why don't we exterminate all humans? We're the ones producing all this toxic waste and such, we wouldn't be risking the lives of animals anymore.

I'm pretty sure that their populations are small enough that it wouldn't have that big of an impact on the ecosystem if we "took care of them."
Anyway, I'm sure my opinion on this won't be popular, but I would be much happier and we would all be safer if we just killed every last bear.

Solution = stay the hell out of their house and you've got nothing to fear.
I sincerely hope this thread was made in jest. If you're serious, well, I think you're an idiot.
One vote for terrible.

You'd probably be out hiking one day in a brown jacket, and get shot by the "anti-bear" patrol by mistake: "Geez, Jimmy, I coulda sworn that guy was a bear! Now whatta we gonna do?" Oh, the irony!
I've seen a bear dangerously close three times so far, and while I was a bit concerned each time, I certainly don't stay up nights letting the fear of them destroy my happiness. It'd be a lot cheaper and safer for you to get over your fear of bears, IMO.

Damn bears... they think they're so tough. In a fair fight... where no claws were involved... I swear I could take one. Come on, bring it on, fur-boy!

just stay in the city, son. You'll be ok.
Humans suck. If you can't respect the animals, stay the hell out of their habitat.

I think someone should genuinly tell him why we should not exterminate all the bears if he is serious. I feel kind of bad for him if he is serious.

It's not that it isn't popular, it's just the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

I don't know if we'd be safer -- though eliminating this kind of stupidity can't be bad -- but I'd be much happier if you were dead.

Maybe exterminating bears is not the answer and you should be less of a pansy.
