I can’t see this Canes team going very far. They play very similar to the Flames under Sutter. Just not explosive enough on offence and the power play doesn’t seem dynamic.

They suppress shots, but they break down in similar fashion with wide open slot chances and odd man rushes.

Yeah, they don’t really do anything until they’re losing. It works against New York (I), but if they win this and play New York (R) I don’t see it working anymore.

The Islanders are getting rocked by a hurricane! It is 3-1 Carolina after twenty minutes. The Hurricanes had a 2-0 lead three mintes into the game with Seth Jarvis assisting on both goals.

That's a weird take. Sutter has 2 cups in the last 12 years playing that system and Carolina has more fire power this year than those Kings teams. Sutter's system is playoff hockey.

Not to mention Canes are betting favorite to win the cup.

The hurricanes have a rotation goal goalies. You can be aggressive and play man on man when you get bailed out by Quick.
