Default Partners TV Series: FX

FX has a new comedy TV series starring Kelsey Grammer!!!!

After the first episode the writing is a bit forced and yet I am still amazed at how Kelsey Grammer can deliver his lines. Man that guy is talent.

It also stars Martin Lawrence, who I've never forgiven since his SNL stand up. His acting is outclassed by Kelsey but some of these lines are pretty hard to deliver.

FX ordered 10 episodes and if it passes the metric test they will order an additional 90. Will watch the first 5 episodes to see if it comes together!

Between the painfully unfunny ads and scathing reviews, I think I'll pass.

Yes, I can understand the Critic hate. It is riddled with cliches in almost every character, but there are a lot of sitcoms that are. Take the extremely successful The Big Bang Theory as an example. Like I said, I'm giving it 5 episodes to see if it turns around, simply because of Kelsey Grammar. I love that actor.

After 4 episodes I have found that it has improved from episode one, but it still isn't as clever as it should be. I wouldn't be surprised if it is cancelled. Grammer is the best part of the show and I don't know if his performance will be enough. There was a shout out to Boss in one "joke" which made me smile. The shout out, not the joke.
