It's not perfect, but it's better than nothing for sure.

Hopefully CMSA does the same, 11v11 means you can play one other team.

Also guess what format they used. Guess they read the forum eh?

Got an email from our beer league team rep last night, it was a forwarding of a message sent to all the teams from the league president. Basically asking teams if they were still willing to play this season should a few possible scenarios go ahead. Of not was the possibility of a maximum number of people allowed at the rink which was 24. Take away two refs and that leaves 11 per team. Second one was the possibility that dressing rooms would not be accessible and you would have to come to the rink dressed (minus skates). Hopefully these measures would only be temporary or not at all but they wanted to put it out there so teams could decide for themselves. The downside of declining to play would be the possibility the league would lose the ice slots permanently.

My beer league team played last night (in Vancouver - I didn't go). 4 on 4. No faceoffs. Max 8 skaters per team. Recommendation of full face shields.
Was more of a test of what they want to do this summer but they are planning on starting a summer season with 4 on 4 rules July 6th.

What league in Vancouver? I'm familiar with most and I wouldn't think this would ASHL at 8 rinks. Maybe somewhere like coast?

Energy Resources league. We're a pretty small league but have been around forever. I do wonder if rink ownership will play a factor in off ice rules (community vs. city owned vs private).

WHCA is booking ice times starting August 4th, with a number of COVID restrictions in place.
Looks like a majority of my players do not want to play in these circumstances. I'm not sure we will be comfortable starting in September either.

We're practicing for football, but the final decision on if a season will happen will take place in the first week of August. I don't think that teams can play under the current rules, teams can't inter mix, but you can practice with appropriate social distancing where possible. Each team also has to have a appointed safety officer that checks on players and coaches prior to practice.

CWSA 7v7 is underway. You have to officiate your own games.

Not sure you want to be putting pictures of minors on here without consent.

My ball hockey league started 2 weeks ago. Smaller roster. 4 on 4.
Actually, my team will be playing AC's team tonight.

Have people heard about the dressing room usage at their rink yet? What are the limits you've heard?
