Actually I was fairly disgusted as Drew tried to justify Connor's head shot because they didn't call a trip on Connor.
Are you kidding me. Drew spends half of the game crying about a lack of penalty calls on Connor, but when the Oilers are slashing hands, that's a good hockey play by the Oilers.
Can that broadcast crew be any more unprofessional.

McD got somewhat tackled, maybe a 50/50 penalty there. He was almost yelling how terrible it that the refs ignored it and in return McD thru a headshot.
He was advocating simple logic, you trip me, I give you a concussion. Fair play and all.
He also said that McD is the best in the NHL at fighting through checks.

If the refs would have called the trip/hook (not really a trip or hook) then McCheapshot wouldn't have had to hit Leddy in the head.

Should be 2 games. No way you can justify that. It's not just that he stuck his arm out, it's the fact that he didn't stuck his arm out to defend himself, it was an offensive blow. His torso didn't try and avoid Leddy as if he thought Leddy was going to hit him.
His head barely tried to avoid Leddy so he wasn't concerned about Leddy, he saw a guy in a vulnerable position and intentionally stuck his elbow to the guys head.

Have Oilers fans expressed their desire for McD to have to fight an Islanders 4th liner in response fir his head shot? They certainly expect other teams top players should have to fight their no talent goons for simply saying mean things to Connor, so I assume they’ve accepted Connor is going to have to answer the bell right?

They probably don't but why would a team want to play the Bruins over any of the metro teams?
The Bruins are arguably the second best team in the league so if you ain't getting home ice I think WC1 is a better spot.
