Great to see Andy Murray back playing - And congrats to Feliciano Lopez winning both the singles and doubles (with Andy Murray) titles today at Queen's Club.

Brayden Schnur wins his opening round qualifying match for Wimbledon in straights sets 6-3 6-2. Steven Diez is on court right now and Peter Polansky plays a little later today.

Sure looks like no strawberries & cream is on the cards for Canada's favourite LL. Polansky currently trailing badly to Hungary's Attila Balazs 6-1, 5-1.
On a much brighter note, Steven Diez just beat Japan's Tatsuma Ito 6-4, 6-1.

Steven Diez wins his opening round qualifying match 6-4 6-1 and next plays fellow Canadian Brayden Schnur on Wednesday. That's the luck of the draw, unfortunately.

Polansky is done like dinner, it's been a struggle for Peter this year after playing some pretty good tennis in 2018.

One up and one down as far as grass exhibition results on Tuesday are concerned - Shapo defeated Fabio Fognini while Felix lost to Kevin Anderson.

Also, Djoker is the top seed followed by Fed and Rafa which means that Djoker and Rafa could meet in a Wimbledon semi-final.

Definitely a bit surprised to hear Rafa complaining about the Wimbledon seeding since you know, he has barely played on grass in recent memory and Federer has done so regularly.
The format is certainly nothing new and works in a pretty fair and favorable way for anyone that gives the grass season a legitimate look. For me, if you don't bother playing any of the other grass tournaments, don't complain about your seeding at Wimbledon.

Agreed and the following tweet sums things up pretty well, in my opinion.

Brayden Schnur will face Salvatore Caruso of Italy for a spot in the Wimbledon main draw. Best three out of five sets. Good luck on Thursday Brayden!

His game is certainly well suited for the grass season. Here's hoping Schnur can make it 5 Canadian men in the main draw this year!

Hold on wait a minute....did people forget that Nadal made the semis of Wimbledon last year, further than Federer? If the reason for seeding is to have the best players play each other later in the tournament than would you be okay with Nadal and Thiem being ranked 1&2 at the French Open?

Tough day for Brayden as he loses in straight sets to Caruso in his final qualifying match. Maybe still a chance for a lucky loser spot in the main draw.

Meh, it's the French Open, who cares
In all seriousness, if they derived a formula for ranking players based on clay court performances over the last 24 months and it spat out that Nadal and Thiem were 1-2, I wouldn't have a problem with it.
