Thumbs up What Are Topics You Love to Talk About?

The same idea as the other thread, but the opposite.

For me it is music. Whether it is bands/songs to check out, playlists you've made for a certain mood, or playing instruments recording music I could go on all day.

Same might be said about art, painting, sculpting, or poetry, I love it all.

Otherwise, I can be obessesive, so what every I am consumed by that month, week or year. That right now for me is chess. Chess strategy, the contenders turnement ,or the history of the game. Inject it all into my veins.

I love talking about construction, building things and home improvement.

This might sound weird, but I like talking about finances, but only up till the point where I understand the concepts. The minute crypto, calls, puts, futures etc get mentioned I get stressed out that I don't understand these topics but I feel like I should haha.

Also sports, I think goes without saying.

Civil aviation/transportation travel

Love talking airplanes, airlines, airports, trains, train stations, ferries, ferry terminals, public transit.

Blows my mind that there's a need for so many people to travel to so many places everyday.

You wanna talk about 787 and A220s? Awesome! Discuss the Canadian or Ocean Trains? Yep. Blue Puttees or Leif Erickson? I see them every day.

Love that stuff.

UFO's and all stuff related to the topic. It's been over 40 years and I still enjoy reading up on the subject. Would love to know the real truth about Roswell and Area 51.

The real truth isn't very interesting. It's like watching the Curse of Oak Island and expecting them to find something. It isn't going to happen. It's all marketing. As a kid I loved that stuff, but the reality is, there's nothing to see behind the curtain.

Add that to my list. Challenging a BSer that's a couple whiskeys deep to see how they manage to gymnastic through pretending to know stuff about things.

Extra points when they have the audacity to go as far as give you advice on said topic too.

I'd normally talk about hockey, but that's not really fun to talk about right now.

Generally I'm good to talk about anything. I'm pretty inquisitive, so I like to ask people about their careers/jobs and hobbies. I'd rather listen than talk.
