Default April 18 with six games.

The Sunday OOT has the Canucks playing for the first time in 25 days. Speedy recovery to all their players, staff, and families.

Anthony Mantha..is playing his 4th game with Caps and just scored his 4th goal with them.

A goal in every game since trade.

i just found out about a rule i didn't know - the goalie is allowed to keep playing with a broken stick.
at the tail end of the second period of the bruins/caps game, rask's stick breaks and when he has a chance he picks up the 'paddle end' of his broken stick and keeps playing. only goalies are allowed to do that

One wonders, with all the chatter around the Canucks, who, all parties agreed to starting Friday, including the team, league, and players association, until Miller decides to pipe up, if the woe is me in their heads....and if Toronto drops a 6 goal victory, if there isn't further chatter about giving Vancouver more time or cancelling. Regardless they'll be some (more) real hot takes.

Kuraly was falling, but Tom Wilson was still trying to line him up from the blind side. Such a ####ing piece of ####. Someone should take the scumbags knees out.

Garnet Hathaway drills Jarred Tinordi from behind right into the boards. Dirty hit. Another useless plug on the Caps. Refs have completely lost control of this game...

Yeah Hathaway is going to be getting a call from the league on that one.

Been as chippy a game as i remember in a long time.

Old school hockey...been awesome.

I miss Hathaway on the flames. He always had some gusto to his game. That hit was dirty as all hell.

Vancouver is still an NHL team and the Leafs are still the Leafs. It was never going to be a blowout.

Seems dangerous, I didn't know that either.

That was a pretty fun save by Holtby.

Poke check sends the puck lobbing over him. Around the world leg spinning through kicks the puck away

I'm kind of pulling for the Canucks here. Want to keep the pressure up on the Leafs so they need to beat the Habs to try and take first in the North.

Don't cheer for them too hard, the Canucks can easily catch us when they catch up on games played.

Thoughts on this one:

-Leafs look pretty meh for a supposed sure thing cup contender.
-losing Hyman for any length of time is going to be a real problem. He's a pace setter swiss army knife player.
-Oddly, the Leafs seemed to change their D pairs, after Brodie and Reilly were receiving rave reviews all season
-Canucks gutted this one out. Outplayed a lot, but they had a good number of shifts to break up the momentum and get some chances
-Edler is 1st in almost every category among defenceman on the Canucks career wise, which is crazy. Would have thought maybe Ohlund or Jovanovski would still be up there
-wouldn't be surprised if Rittich takes over the net there

Well, I cheer for the Flames and here we are, so that shows where I stand with the hockey gods. Besides, the Flames need to beat the Canucks just to catch the Habs, so the way I see it, having the Canucks in the mix doesn't change too much.

Holtby did a good job on that one with I think 16 seconds left of obscuring the puck.

It’s one of those ones where you can see the puck go off his ass, logically it has to be past the line, it looked like he scooped it from behind the line after, but he obscured every possible camera angle and viewpoint of the puck
