I’ve feared it was a hex on RNH to make such a comparison, as no athlete in the history of team sports was more dominant than Wayne Gretzky. But the comparison flows naturally...

I’ve seen enough of RNH, though, to make the following claim: that if he can avoid injury, he will be a point-a-game player this season.

We will see, in the end, where he ranks in terms of scorers in the NHL this year. If he can end up anywhere close to the position he’s in now, the Wayne Gretzky comparisons will grow louder and louder.

In terms of style and manner, the comparison has always made sense. In terms of production, the comparison is not quite so out of line right now either.

At least the title is somewhat accurate about their obsession. Unfortunately the rest is standard Staples nonsense.

I don’t know how an Oiler fan can read that drivel all the time and stay an Oiler fan.

I use to be big on the WJC and Team Canada, but the more TSN went overboard with their fellating and over hyping of Team Canada and their prospects, especially the ones who belong to Canadian teams, I just lost interest and I don’t even care how Canada does anymore.

It’s the same thinking for me how Trumpists can stay loyal to Trump despite all the Bs.
