Agreed. Plus I worked at Walmart when I was 16, and that cheer scene they do early on in season 1 is not only pretty accurate but had me in stitches!
Binged that whole show recently, it really hooked me in too.

I want to watch a show where Glenn and Michael Scott have to work as co-managers of a manufacturing facility.

When I worked at Future Shop in the early 90's their morning meetings/pump up segments were almost religious in nature. and at times absurd. Morning cheers, big pump up speeches from the managers.
When I moved into the management training it became even worse. I at one point went to the Head Office to interview for a buyers job, and they were doing those meetings there too. Honestly I was just there to make a crap load of money, which I did. But everything was regimented, there was very little creativity, and working at Future Shop was designed to make you feel like you were on the crest of this great world domination machine. Um til they went to the States and tried to compete with the big box movers there.

Just about through rewatching the Orville, and its funny for the most part I like it better the second time around. While the joke stuff is still good, because its not a surprise you can focus around some of the actually really good dialogue points that pop up with Ed and the rest of the crew. The only thing that stands out now thanks to Red Letter Media is you can really see where they've taken direct episodes of Star Trek TOS and Next Generation and directly rebooted those episodes.

Stick with it, it's pretty strong throughout- later seasons have a few duds but all are watchable and then rewatchable

I love how DeVito got on but actually thought the writing was better before.
It's an amazing show but NOT bingeable. I watched 3 seasons in a weekend and it ruined the series for me for a long time. The show is hilarious because the core are just such awful, awful people. The same reason it's funny makes more than a few episodes at a time unbearable.
The philanthropist episode is still one of the best episodes of modern comedic television however.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is the most overrated sitcom besides The Office.
And I've either gained or most likely lost a lot of already undeserved respect with that single sentence.

Agreed, I really liked season 2. My favourite of the first 3 seasons (haven't seen the 4th). I thought it was a really well put together season.

Resident Alien is still one of my favorite new shows. Its such a fun format because everyone is pretty much playing the straight man to two characters, the Alien and the Sheriff who are both pretty much insane.
I can't remember the last time I watched a show where the main character spit on a kid and I laughed for like 5 minutes at the absurdity of it.

Thought I'd pull the plug on Vikings after "it happened" in S4, but surprisingly I got hooked back in. But I'm deep into the second half of S5 now and man has it turned into a grind...does anything positive ever happen??
Just a nonstop parade of people getting backstabbed and murdered in the most horrific way possible every episode, followed by lengthy periods of loud grieving scenes. I feel so drained after watching it, and not in a fun, roller coaster way either.
Only 3 more episodes in S5 so I'm feeling the need to finish it, but I don't know if I can do another 20 eps of this for the final season...

Yeah, I think I made it to around where you are and gave up on Vikings. I loved the first few seasons, but then it got... Dark and boring. Keep thinking I'll finish it one day but not sure I will.

I loved most of it, but I didn't really like the last season.
Ivar was kind of the main character but was an uncompelling villain. Bjorn was kind of the hero but pretty boring. Hvisterk's story became detached from the main plot. The Vikings never founded the Kingdom of Dublin, the England story just disappeared. I had kind of thought that show was an ode to Ragnar's Sons and they would end as kings of Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Dublin and Mercia respectively.

I’m late to the party here but Cobra Kai is fataing AWESOME.
I’m a little too young for Karate Kid love, and the I was concerned the “cheese” would come from poor performances and corny storylines. I was wrong. The cheese is fully self aware with the music, training montages, and the odd “gotcha” moment. Overall I have praise for Zabka and the kids as usually the kids drag stuff like this down but they are mostly the best parts. Machio is not as bad as I thought he would be (although he does appear bad at karate).
Binged the 1st and 2nd season all at once.

It's hard for a series to overcome losing it's best character and Ragnar was the reason Vikings was really good as the first three seasons were fantastic. Travis Fimmel really nailed Ragnar and the Ivar actor wasn't nearly as compelling in the Ivar role which led to the show losing steam.
