The Norsemen is hilarious. Unfortunately, it has been cancelled after three seasons.

For those who haven't discovered it yet, or have been contemplating it, you really should check out Yellowstone!

The very first episode left me skeptical but it picked up and kept on gaining steam with each episode. Season 2 was a massive uptick over season 1. We're about to kick off season 3 this weekend.

I avoided it because it was all about cowboys and I'm not a fan of cowboys. I hate all country & western type stuff. I kept hearing how good it was and my wife told me that she kept hearing about how good it was. So I broke down and agreed to watch it.

Just amazing.

For wrestling fans from the 80s and 90s there is a great VICE documentary series on HBO called "Dark Side of the Ring." There are two seasons, and I just finished the first two episodes last night about Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth, and the "Montreal screw job" back in 1997.

Mike Schur's new show starts streaming tomorrow. I'm not an Ed Helms fan, and the trailer doesn't grab me at all, so I'm skeptical but I'll give it a chance. It's on Showcase and Global in Canada.

To maximize confusion, while the whole season drops tomorrow on Peacock in the States, in Canada, it doesn't premiere until next Thursday (April 29) on Showcase and Global... but wait, there's more... I believe that only the premiere will be on Global. The full series will air on Showcase... and it will air one episode per week.

I wonder what the release schedule will look like on Stack, which has actually been a pretty great alternative to cable when I need to put on something mindless for a fraction of the cost.

I started watch Them on Prime. I'm half way through and it's one of the more uncomfortable shows I've ever seen. Episode 5 has easily the most disturbing scene I've seen on TV.

Anyone else watch this? Is it worth finishing?

Easily the most disturbing scene ever broadcasted. I watched it all they way through. I thought it was pretty good—not great.

I'm the same way; I'm not into the Western genre, but my wife grew up on farms/ranches so she wanted to watch it.
It's so good though.
After we get the kid in bed, we've been watching a few episodes every night.
I would definitely recommend it.

This is good to know. We abandoned it half way through season 1 because we both found it particularly uninteresting. Perhaps because I felt really let down by the hype.
Will have to try again and get through to season 2

I for one never knew how dangerous and insidious Ranching is.

You'd think they'd just have their cattle and their horses and their honourable but dim-witted semi-alcoholic cowboys.

And then you have people going to the 'Train Station' and non-consensual branding.

But yeah, its a great show.

My sons have grown up playing hockey with a few kids from farms around Southern Alberta. One father and I have become friends because his boys are on my boys' teams.... I'm really starting to question what this guy is really like out in the country!

I consider it the cowboy version of Sons of Anarchy. Extremely far fetched and cheesy but the over the top characters, organized crime, mixed with a lot of life and death storylines makes for good popcorn entertainment.

I think Darryl Sutter needs to take some folks to 'The Train Station.'

Binged "High Maintenance" last week. 4 relatively short seasons.

It is a series of vignettes about interesting characters of New York all connected by their weed dealer "the Guy." It's a comedy but hits some really interesting topics and issues.

If anything, it's a love letter to New York City and its citizens - along the same lines of Broad City. Far more than Sex and the City ever could be
