I have radio at low volume in my cube and I have never had issue picking up what everyone is saying but I can't hear Commodore. He sounds like a muffled Steven Brunt.

I thought it was Brunt too first time I heard him.

Yeah they definitely sound similar but Brunt speaks much clearer.

At least Commodore played in the league, all of Krahn's stories are how much he sucked and he's a constant reminder of one of the biggest draft busts in franchise history. I think it would be best if they can keep rotating former NHL players in and out in 2-week stints. It would keep it fresh.

You run out of personal stories. These guys need to be able to discuss what is happening today and whoever can do that in a more engaging way gets my vote. I liked what I heard of Krahn.

Agreed. Personal stories are for the person being interviewed.

So can :
Move the morning guys to an afternoon slot to force them to talk about sports. Then hire both Commodore (part time Warrener role) and Krahn for the morning and pair them with an actual journalist.
be one of the poll questions?

FWIW I think Krahn, as a guy who's been local for longer, is more hooked into a lot of guys on the team or still with the org. He still seems close with Gio (they spent a year in the AHL together and that creates bonds, I imagine). He came back to Calgary quickly after his playing was done.
Commodore, while an NHLer, had minimal regular season games and the one PO run, then was gone to various places in the US and Russia. He's back in Calgary but only recently. I wish he'd bring some of his anti-Babcock stuff, or maybe his anti McGuire stuff, to the table.

At least the 3 hours of NFL game lines talk each day is riveting.

Kahn is pretty good but my preference would be for Kris Versteeg. That guy was built for radio.

I liked Commodore alot more on the radio than I do on Twitter, would still prefer Krahn though. Although I can't see him taking the job full time. Seems like has too much else going well in his life

The only thing they talk about more is their fantasy leagues which is where every single football conversation winds up.

I guess it makes sense when him and Stajan were out with the prospects in the summer, but I don't recall anything official.

Yeah....we'll need you to move down to Sub-Basement B and you can turn the volume up a bit...to a reasonable level.
Oh...and if you could take care of the cockroach problem down there that'd be greeeeat.....
