I get that, but the majority of the people that show up to those rallies aren't old and immobile.

I could not walk 4 miles. That's like from McMahon to Saddledome.

45 min to an hour, most healthy people would have no problem doing that... especially in this case when you don't really have an alternative (I mean you could wait for a bus that won't come, or just bite the bullet and just walk and be ahead in the end).

Anyway, I am way off topic.

Most Trump supporters are confused by the concept of left foot-right foot-repeat.

The Supreme Court garbage will absolutely happen. Guaranteed. Even if he is losing on election night Trump will cry foul. There is no scenario minus a Trump elected victory where he doesn't push this to the SCOTUS.

If the results are close, like 50/50 coin flip territory, then yea, it's likely going to the SC and Trump will be gifted the presidency.

If he's soundly defeated in a Biden landslide though, I don't see how a court would even take up the case. Sure he might cry foul and try and make a big sitnk, but I doubt it would go very far.

Some surprising polling from Wisconsin this morning, A+ pollster ABC News/WAPO has Biden up 17 points.

Agreed. No matter what side anyone is on, Supreme Court justices aren't pawns, they are the most accomplished people in the country. Why would they stick out, not only their own necks, but the whole system of the country's neck, for a guy like Trump? Sure both parties nominate judges that are most commonly aligned with their views, but once there, the judges aren't indebted to them. They may interpret laws differently, but they're not going to abandon them.

I see the same if a Biden administration decides to increase the SC to 11, the SC would to their best to block it, to protect the legitimacy of the it.

In what way is Amy Coney Barrett the most accomplished person in the country?

She's been a judge for three years prior to her selection.

Ya it’s a stretch to say most accomplished especially in the last couple of appointments. What they have is a privileged resume.

You look at the Kavanagh opinion that people are essentially laughing/crying at this week. It’s brutal. But what we have to remember is that it is his team of aides putting these things together. So what you have is a bunch of unqualified/incapable aides doing the work and 10-15 year from know they are going to be just as terrible but because they have this on their resume they will get hand picked for positions.

They may not be qualified to write articles but PJ and Squee are great work out buddies for Beer Boy after work!

out of all the SNL political skits from the past 4 years this is still the best one!

I think this is absolutely part of the plan. Trump has been talking endlessly about massive fraud in this election and one thing we’ve learned is that he constantly projects and telegraphs his own actions. I have no doubt that the GOP and/or foreign actors will introduce fraudulent votes for the GOP or for the democrats (false flag) with the expectation that they will surface and provide justification to ignore the vote.

I feel like the more plausible scenario is that republicans lose the presidency and senate, everyone throws a giant parade of happiness, and then everyone realizes that the judges that have been packed on to lifetime appointments in federal courts and the Supreme Court will be used to practice the same form of obstructionism the republican in the senate used during the obama administration.

Everything the Dems attempt will be challenged in court. Health reform? Challenged. Executive orders undoing Trump insanity? Challenged. Republicans knew wheat they were doing. Their “legacy” is safer than you think.

I'm sure most of them thought their red hats would keep them warm.

That or their racism.

Is there a limit to the size of the supreme court? Could the next Republican admin just add more? Seems a dangerous strategy.
