Question: are the Blasty jerseys from last year gone forever now? is there anywhere to buy them?

I believe all Reverse Retro jerseys were limited edition - once they sold out they are gone. Adidas and the NHL won't make another batch. So your best bet would be eBay nowadays from resellers...

I wouldn't give up on Blasty just yet. I read on twitter the other day that the flames are confirmed to have a third jersey for next season (along with the wild). My guess is Blasty is coming back.

I wish they announced they were limited edition. I thought I’d just wait till the hype died down then get one.

I’m still Blastyless. Except I have one of those baggy ass OG Blastys.

Yeah I would have bought one had I known they were limited.

The fact many of these sold out and the nhl/adidas were like “no thanks, we don’t want your money” and refused to make more is bizarre. Even more bizarre that they didn’t reverse course and let teams keep them for another season and then make more.

In a world where money talks, apparently the decision makers at the nhl just kinda forgot that they’re in this to make money.

It had to do with manufacturing. The Reverse Retro line was the last thing Adidas manufactured before it introduced a new line of fabric, Primegreen, and discontinued the old stuff.

If the Flames could've had another run of the Blasty jerseys made up, they would've. Blasty is far from being dead.

I thought they did say they were limited from the very beginning.

So adidas couldn’t make reverse retros from the new fabric? Again, this is capitalism 101 here. It’s unheard of for a money making enterprise to refuse fan’s money. The nhl and adidas should’ve immediately launched a 2nd print run or later reconsidered a 2nd season of reverse retro.

Has anyone looked at buying a youth L/XL in lieu of a men's small?

From all that I've seen, they're fairly comparable except length and sleeve length? Any general consensus on yay or nay?

Can't speak to the blasty specifically but historically the biggest difference is sleeve length. The youth XL will be a 3/4 sleeve on most adults.

Ya, I decided not to go with it. The sleeves would have been way too short.

Sorry, another question for you all, can anyone vouch for: icehockeyjerseys.ca ?

It looks like they're in Toronto somewhere but not sure if they're legit?

Cheers,

They definitely had a couple of these reverse retro Blasty jerseys at pro hockey life on 130th SE a few weeks ago when I stopped in.
